Even if the term initially appears to be a biological fact, it conceals different attributions that define the degree of maturity in different ways. In this respect it makes sense to speak of different constructions of the adult, which can then be described and compared. A distinction can be made between biological-medical, legal and political degrees of maturity, but also philosophical, sociological and educational degrees. What exactly an adult is, therefore, always depends on the perspective from which you look at the adult. Adulthood is therefore a term that depends on time and context and is also defined by its relationship to other ages, especially childhood and youth. Just as childhood has changed in the course of history, adult status also has a historical genesis.
